Simon Wednesday Challenge

Good Morning!!

This week at the Simon Wednesday Challenge is Critters and Lawn Fawn.
Here's my card...

 I heat embossed the hamster, wheel and heart and then sponged on several different reds and pinks in Distress ink. Then spritzed it with some water and lifted up some of the color.I love this mottled look!

I colored the image with Distress markers and some Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents on the hearts.

I'll be giving this card to my 8 year old for Valentine's Day.

Paper Smooches Challenge

Hi,
I made this card for the Paper Smooches challenge. The challenge is to use only 4 colors (black, cream, white, kraft and grey are free colors)

 I used the Curls and Swirls stamp set. as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it!!!
I used Distress inks in Old Paper, Carved Pumpkin, Lucky Clover and Ground Espresso.
I put some Wink of Stella on the orange dots.

The "thanks" is a die from Lawn Fawn, and I cut it 4 times and covered it with Glossy Accents.
And sprinkled some sequins around.

I'm BACK!!!

Wow!! I can't believe it's been over a year since I posted anything!
2015 was a long year for me, I've been taking care of my dad. He's in home hospice care for heart problems. I go 4 times a week an hour away. I cook and prepare him meals, clean and just sit with him. Then I come home and do the same for my family. (whine whine whine lol)
Anyway, I also fell into the watching, searching and buying rut of crafting. I would buy products and look up ideas for them but not to much doing and NO posting. My new Years resolution is to MAKE and POST!!! So finally I'm here!! So enough excuses!

I made this for my mother in law to be, for her birthday.

I LOVE how it turned out!! So bright and cheery just like her!!
The heart inlay is from Simon Says Stamps

"happy" die is Avery Elle
sequins from Darice and Pretty Pink Posh
I watercolored with Distress inks
papers are Neenah, Paper Studio and Glitz
