Peachy Keen Challenge

Hello!!! Hope you all had a great weekend!!!
I'm starting the count down to next weekend. My daughters friend's son's birthday is on Saturday (that was a mouthful) The are having a party, so my mom is taking all 3 kids up to Wisconson for the whole weekend. Yay!!!!! First time ever I will be without them for that long. Do I hear Pintrest?

Anyway, I made this card for his B-day. His name is David.
I used Wild Card - Spinner card, Playtime and Father's Day cartridges. The faces are PKS wide Eyed Kids and Funshine face Parts. The Happy Birthday is from My Pink Stamper. Paper is from Papertrey Ink and Recollections.

I hope he likes it as much as I do!!

Hey Chickie!!

"Thanks Easta' bunny bawk bawk!!" Does anyone remember that commercial? I think it was for M&Ms
Anyway, I made this card for Easter. I found this adorable little chick in the Simply Charmed cartridge and I knew I HAD to make it!!!

 I cut  the chick and eggs out of white cardstock and colored them w/ some Distress Inks in Scattered Straw and Mustard Seed for the chick and Broken China and Faded Jeans, Crushed Olive and Shabby Shutters, Victorian Velvet, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar for the eggs, which are from Sugar & Spice cartidge. The face stamp is from Peachy Keens Happy Lashes. The saying is from My Creative Times Turn that Frown Upsidedown set. Paper is Papertrey Ink, Recollections and Paper Studio. And Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder and I put what appeared at the time, a yellow feather on it's head (looks brown now) lol

Shamrock Wreath

Hi Everyone!!
I hope you are all having a great week. Mine has been a little sad, my 100 year old Grandma died on Sunday. I also feel happy for her to be at peace now. She has had a rough go of it lately. She went peacefully in her sleep. She can now be w/ my Grandpa who passed in 1977. We'll miss you Grandma.

Thanks for letting me get that out, now on to happier things!! I made this wreath in honor of St. Patty's Day. I love how it turned out!! Soooo bright and cheerful!!

Celebrate w/ Flourish, cindy Loo, Create a Critter, Don Juan and Simply Charmed.
Paper is Color bok, Recollections, Glitz and Glitter and Papertrey Ink.
I used my Sakura gel pens to add some stitching and LOTS of Glue dots and glue.

Throwback Thursdays Challenge

This weeks challenge at My Creative Time was a Cricut-less challenge. NO CRICUT? WHAT?!!!
Just kidding!! This was fun, and I love how easy and great my card came out.

I used MCT Curly Lable die, Inspiring Words (Accents), and Turn That Frown Upsidedown. Paper is Papertrey Ink and Echo Park Time's and Seasons. I LOVE this paper!! Soooo many GREAT patterns!!

PKS Challenge

This weeks challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps was a sketch challenge.

Here's the sketch we had to follow...

I used PKS Faceless Bugs for the Butterfly, I colored it w/ my Prisma colored pencils and paper pieced the body and the face. I also added some glitter pen accents. (That's the shine you see)

The saying is My Creative Time's Turn That Frown Upsidedown set.

I used Elegant Edges for the oval.

Paper is from Gina K Designs, DCWV, Recollections and Debbie Mumm.

I added some glittery white studs w/ my I-Rock

Everything is inked w/ Distress Ink in Concord Grape
