Peachy Keen Challenge

This is the sketch and color sceme we had to follow for this challenge. The colors were the rough part for me, I couldn't make them flow together. Know what I mean? But, I like how it finally turned out. I used the cute little froggie stamp. I love him!! I embossed w/ I think it's called Bubbles on some Core-adnations paper and then sanded it. Pretty cool effect I think.

Have a great day!!

SOUS Challenge

Ha!! Finally finished! This is for the Stuck on U Sketches Challenge. We had to follow a sketch (Which I forgot to load again) This is a pic of my first born daughter, when she was 6 days old. She's now almost 23. Can you say "I'm old"? ARRRGGG!!! I used DCWV Mariposa stack, may I say "I LOVE this paper!" I love anything w/ butterflies! I also used Lacy Lables for the scalloped circles, and Plantin Schoolbook for the square frame. The font is stickers from my Basic Grey Capella pack, although they dont show up as much as I would like. Some Prima flowers, buttons and some bling from Want 2 Scrap. Oh, and my new Martha Stewert punch.

Have a great day!

My Pink Stamper Winter Card

Hi, Hope you're all having a great Sunday!!

This card came out better than I'd hoped. It was super fast and easy to make. (except for waiting for the stickles to dry) This is for a My Pink Stamper challenge. Make an easy wintery card.

I used Create a Critter, Stickles in Frosted Lace and Stardust, Cuttlebug folder from the xmas bundle from HSN, (sorry don't know the name) and white core paper that I embossed and then sanded, and MPS and PKS stamps.

I hope he makes you smile as much as he has for me (does that make sense?) lol

Olive juice Challenge

I made this LO for the Olive Juice Challenge. We were to make anything, with at least... 1 patterned paper, 1 Cricut cut, some sort of bling ( glitter, gems) a fiber ( ribbon flowers cord) and a stamped image. The stamp really held me up. I had nothing to go w/ this page. Finally I saw I had MPS Family & Friends , Dance stamp. But it was way too small. So finally it came to me to pattern my paper w/ the stamp in pink and black, and cut my word "DANCE" from it. I think it turned out great! I Stickled every other swirl on the square frame. "as if no one is watching" is printed from my computer.

Leah's Sketch SOUS Challenge

First off I want to say, Great sketch Leah!! I had a great time w/ this one.
Ok... This Lo is of my dad and step mom when they were about 5. My dad took a pic of both of them and had them welded together. They sent them out as their xmas cards a couple years back, that said "Happy Holidays from us kids!" hence my title. The other is from my wedding in 1999.

Papercraft Star Challenge

I made this for my step Mom, to cheer her up. She just went to a hospice, to get therepy for her hip replacement. I'm also entering in the Papercraft Star Challenge, this weeks challenge is buttons, bows and bling. The stamp is from Sprinkle and Sparkle, the paper is Basic Grey Cappella, which I love!! I saw an example of this tea bag holder on a blog ( I'm sorry I don't remember who's) but couldn't find any directions on how to make it. So I gave it a try. I think it turned out pretty good.
Thanks for dropping by! Have a great day!!

Card Patterns Sketch 76

My Step-Mom fell and broke her hip last week. She had a partial hip replacement. So I made this card for her. It also is for the Card Patterns Challenge. We had to follow a sketch, so go check it out. This turtle stamp and saying are from Sprinkle and Sparkle. They have some really cute stamps and the best glitter. Love them!!

Hope your day is great!!

BBTB2 Challenge

I made this card for the Bitten by the Bug 2 Challenge blog. We were to use the lizard from Life is a Beach cart. This card is going to a friend of mine, who always follows the rules and does whatever she's told. I'm always telling her to go out and do what she wants to do, to have fun. So this card is perfect.

Thanks for dropping by for a visit. Have a super day!

Simon Says Challenge

I really loved this challenge!! We were to make something that represents a song. Any song.

I got these Beatles stamps off Ebay, from Simon Says Stamps, about a year and a half ago. I loved them on sight and knew I had to have them. Well this is the first time I've used them. lol

When I saw this challenge, I knew exactly what I was going to do. I have always loved the song Yellow Submarine. When I was in school the other kids used to sing Yellow Sub-Maureen. It always made me laugh.
Submarine is from Life is a Beach

Hope you like it. Have a wonderful day!!

Peachy Keen Challenge #34

This card is for the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #34. I used the Laughy Taffy Face stamp that I picked up at CHA. As soon as I saw this face I thought it looked like Marilyn Monroe. So here she is..... Marilyn Moon-roe.
Thank for stopping by, Have a great day!!! :)
